""Yosemite Gateway Partners is an alliance of government representatives (federal, state and local agencies and elected officials), self-identified community leaders, chambers of commerce, tourism bureaus, non-profit organizations, small business owners and local interested residents who acknowledge the interdependence of Yosemite National Park and the surrounding gateway communities. They gather quarterly to discuss and seek cooperative, community supported actions to improve communications and to mobilize responses to issues of regional importance. Topics include education, cultural awareness, tourism, marketing, planning, growth, and recreational activities. The agenda for the meeting is open to all members who would like to present topics of common interest. There is an open forum on the last hour.   Meeting topics and regional issues are also covered via a quarterly newsletter and a private Intranet."
