To everyone

I have lived in Groveland now for 4 years and am very impressed with what I see and hear right now towards this recall…….well almost.

Once again we have a small group of people who have decided to voice there opinion without truly using perspective or facts.

I recently sent my children out of state to there mothers with hopes of giving them a better education and also for a connection with there mother. Last year due to some staffing and course cutting at Tenaya I felt that the school board did not have my children's best interest at heart. I also was in the middle of personal issues that needed my time so I did not get involved. So to those who have been involved and are drawing a line in the sand, thank you.

Let me be clear, the teachers and staff at both our schools are remarkable and highly qualified and should be saluted for educating all our children especially with outdated books, depleted supplies and a real lack of true support from local and state bureaucrats.

I salute the young students who are rallying and fighting for there schools and teachers. They are the reason I decided to even set anything on paper.

To those who have slandered these children, parents, and teachers you should be ashamed of your behavior. This behavior is at least consistent with those you are supporting. The school board is arrogant, degrading, cocky, depraved, insolent, childish, mildly informed, and self preserving in its nature.

When children take on the responsibility of adults in and of it self shows how well they are being educated not the lack there of. Conviction is taught and nurtured not ignored and the fact that this recall has so much support is why it needs to happen.

It seems that those who oppose this recall are friends with different individuals on the board present and past. They neither truly know are have contacted the people driving this recall. Sorry, but this reflects more on there character and the boards and not those who are disappointed in our schools present situation.

This was the same experience I had when I arrived here and took on the position as the country club chef, the pml voice was littered with degrading comments and misinformed homeowners bent on cursing others. This did change; Tom and I where able to change the opinions and watched as the negative comments left this blog sight.

My point is simple, no one asking for this recall did so without a heavy heart and there only desire is to fix a broken system. This as in all aspects of life……… is painful and not without consequence. To attack there character and spit on there resolve is as far as I am concerned totally undemocratic and childish. I invite a good debate and always want opposing opinions but some respect is in order. Especially in an open forum with an issue based on our children's needs. Remember our children, we should be an example to them not a disappointment.
