I spoke with my friend Mary Kelly (school board president) about my request for Mrs.
Cravens to answer the questions presented by the recall committee. Mary reminded me that
it is improper for a School Board Member to speak unilaterally about any issues without
consent from the other board members. Mary suggested that I submit my questions to the
School Board to be agendized and included in (hopefully) the next meeting.  I have given
the questions to her and requested that the Board discuss these issues at the next board
meeting in a question and answer format with the ability for follow up questions or
explanations.

The alternative (and less likely possibility) would be for the board to approve Mrs.
Cravens as their spokesperson.

Given these facts, it doesn't seem likely that the vast majority of us in the community
will have the opportunity to learn both sides of the story until after the recall
petition period is expired.  I have signed the recall petition.
