Hello everyone,

For those of you that don't know me I am Mary Ann Puou and I own Coffee Time. As many of you know I was asked by some community members if they could use Coffee Time for a few days to have a place where other community members could sign petitions for the School Board Re-call. Based on the fact that I allow church members the use of my facility every Sunday to hold youth meetings and the fact I always allow community members to post flyers (for whatever the cause) in and outside my facility I said yes.

It has come to my attention that people feel that I am siding with a “divided community” and because I am allowing people to sign the petitions they will no longer come to Coffee Time. I am sorry that people feel that way. I hate to lose any business based on someone not agreeing with what I allow other community members the use of my facility.

Again, I am very sorry that I might lose very valued customers (it is you locals that keep me open in the winter and I am very appreciative) however please don't think that I am trying to make a political statement. I am simply allowing fellow community members the use of my facility.
