Do YOU even KNOW this person you speak so harshly of? Do you have any personal knowledge of his teaching abilities? What he has done on his OWN time for the kids and this community? How would YOU feel if someone made derogatory comments about you with out even knowing you? I find your comments about his looks and athletic abilities being his only qualifications very offensive.

Individual personnel issues aside...and there have been many, (at this time there are 6 staff members in litigation with the district) ...... stop and think what it took for the TEACHERS to issue a vote of no confidence to this board and superintendent. It is something that happens very rarely in ANY district in the country. They live in fear of their jobs... of being the next 'target' of the superintendent. Most of them are long time teachers who love their jobs...or I should say loved.

We don't ask that you sign these petitions blindly. Come to a school board meeting (the next one is Wed Nov12 at the Hacienda in Don Pedro at 6:00 and the one after that will be Nov 10 at the new Tioga gym at 6:00)... how many board meetings have YOU Jane Peters been to? I have been to many... enough to know we need a change. There has been a lot of apathy in this district the last few years. Many board meetings only had 3 or 4 people there and the special board meetings... which there have been WAY too many of, rarely have anyone there, as 24 hours notice and middle of the day meetings are hard for people to get to.

Get informed people... we have nothing to hide...no hidden agendas. We just want a board and superintendent that are fiscally responsible in these tough financial times, supportive of their staff and open with the public. We ask that you help us achieve that by signing the petitions once you have heard or read the facts.
